Take the first step at FONDS'10 in Zurich.
On February 5, 2010, money, stock market and investment professionals will be on hand to give you an insight
into the mechanisms of the financial markets, to present the most important parties and to
explain most common financial instruments.
Presentations will be easily understandable, brief and to the point.
The Swiss stock exchange, SIX Swiss Exchange, is presenting the workshops in association with other,
independent organisations from the financial world that all support the joint "Anlagewissen kompakt"
training initiative. They include the
Swiss Funds Association SFA ,
the Fund Academy,
iconomix -
the Swiss National Bank's training programme,
the Sunflower Foundation (MoneyMuseum and MoneyForum) and the
Association of Foreign Banks in Switzerland.
The brief presentations at the "Anlagewissen kompakt" workshops will look into the following issues:
- Personal dealings with financial investments
- The role of the Swiss National Bank (SNB)
- Regulation, transparency and investor protection: the remit of the Swiss stock exchange, SIX Swiss Exchange
- Investment funds - a smart investment
These brief presentations will be complemented by a moderated panel discussion.
Participants are warmly invited to meet the speakers after the module to discuss finance and investment matters.
