How long does a Clearing Day last?

The SIX Swiss Exchange exchange day is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. CET., during which time participants can enter orders and match trade confirmations.

The period from 8 a.m. to 6.15 p.m. CET is referred to as the clearing day, during which time the link to the CCP is open. Participants may only mark trades for clearing (and send them to the CCP) during this period.

Outside these times, trades cannot be cleared.
