Fees

Trading Participants and Reporting Members of SIX Swiss Exchange incur various fees for using the SWXess trading platform.

Details on SIX Swiss Exchange's fee schedule can be found in:

Participation fees include a one-time admission fee and a recurring annual fee. For direct connections an additional access fee will be charged.

Under certain circumstances, extraordinary fees - such as supervision and investigation fees - are payable.

SIX Swiss Exchange also charges a fee for all on-Exchange transactions. This includes the reporting fee. By paying trading fees, the participant is freed from any surcharges due on its reported turnover. The amount of the trading fee is calculated per transaction and participant and depends on the given participant's total trading turnover (money involved; ad valorem fee) and number of transactions.

For certain product segments, SIX Swiss Exchange makes available special trading capacity in the form of quotes per second (QPS), FIX transactions per second (FTPS) or OUCH transactions per second (OTPS). In return for payment of a monthly capacity fee, SIX Swiss Exchange can allocate additional trading capacity (QPS, FTPS or OTPS) for use by the participant.
