SIX Swiss Exchange training and examinations for traders set a high benchmark in terms of quality and
client service. They ensure that traders have the necessary expertise in securities trading
and that transactions are executed correctly.
The training program and exams are coordinated and managed by the SIX Swiss Exchange Member Education team,
allowing traders to benefit from the real-world expertise of specialists in different departments
as well as attractive terms. The training concept is aimed at all SIX Swiss Exchange traders with or without
a license recognized by SIX Swiss Exchange. Training sessions are held at SIX Swiss Exchange premises, or on request on
site at client locations outside Switzerland. It is also possible to prepare for the exam by
distance learning using the extensive preparatory materials and practice test available online.
The Trader Examination has a modular structure. Traders employed by SIX Swiss Exchange participants can take
the exam online at the participant's premises. The exam may be taken at any time and participants
can run the exam for individuals or groups. On completing the exam, the results are displayed
promptly on the screen and can be printed out. Traders employed by Reporting Members must take
the exam at SIX Swiss Exchange premises.
