In terms of the operational setup, the focus is on establishing
problem-free technological connectivity with the exchange, whereby SIX Swiss Exchange offers
various connectivity options.
Connectivity
Trading participants can opt for either a direct link or connectivity
via an Application Service Provider to the SIX Swiss Exchange SWXess trading platform. Trading
participants concerned about latency time can also lodge their servers with a
Proximity Service provider[pdf] against a monthly fee. Comprehensive documentation
is available on connectivity to the SWXess trading platform
(SCAP Connectivity Guide) as well as on the utilization of interfaces
(STI, CTI, MDI and RDI).
Clearing and Settlement
Instructions, by means of the
CSSI form[pdf], must be completed by the participant or a corresponding
General Clearing Member (GCM) and forwarded to SIX Swiss Exchange.
