SIX Swiss Exchange offers interfaces with various functions for on-Exchange trades executed either via the order
book or away from the order book. Orders and quotes on the order book are entered, changed or
cancelled using the following interfaces.
Standard Trading Interface (STI) for orders
The Standard Trading Interface enables participants to enter, change or cancel normal orders,
immediate-or cancel ("accept") orders and fill-or-kill orders.
Capacity Trading Interface (CTI) for volatile orders and quotes
The Capacity Trading Interface enables participants who engage in high-frequency trading to enter,
change or cancel so-called volatile orders. The CTI offers participants enhanced functions,
such as the ability to simultaneously cancel orders as well as quotes. Only via the CTI can participants
enter, change or cancel quotes.
