The various interest calculation methods differ from one another in the way the number of days in the year
is calculated.
Example: The "German (30/360)" rule, which is customary in Switzerland,
is based on an average of 30 days a month (or 360 days a year),
whereas other rules are based on the exact number of calendar days.
